Whether you’re pulling, lifting, or lowering a load, the main frame spring is an essential part of your Lug-All hoist. If your main frame spring becomes worn out, it’s an easy fix! Just follow these simple steps to replace it.
Hold the spring upside down, so the long hoop is facing the spring anchor (downwards).
Attach the long hoop to the spring anchor and pawl stop located on the inside of the main frame.
Drop the spring forward, down between the drum and the mainframe.
With the U-frame pawl disengaged, swing the U-frame down towards the spring.
Keeping the main frame pawl tight against the main frame, press down on the U-frame until the spring snaps onto the main frame pawl.
After you have successfully replaced the main frame spring, put the remaining pieces of your hoist back together and use as directed.
